About Pushpam Appalainaidu
Pushpam Appalainaidu was born and raised in Perak, Malaysia in a large family. Her formal education was in Klang Valley and Petaling Jaya. Her roots are basically from India as the name suggests from the coastal city of Vizag, on the banks of the famous Godavari River in Andhra Pradesh.
With strong connections with India, the values her parents imbibed in herself and her siblings led her to towards spirituality and was initiated by Swami Chidananda from Divine Life Society, founded by Swami Sivananda, Rishikesh.
The strong inclination towards spirituality led her to carve her path in spirituality under the tutelage of her Guru. Choosing to follow the path of spirituality, she never wavered from her commitments to achieve the goals set by her. Professionally, she pursued a career in accountancy and finance as she had a penchant for numbers. She pursued a professional life working for corporates in various industries and had the opportunity to travel to India and other countries too.
Recounting her India experiences, she had for the first time put her foot in India and it was both a revelation and a realization. She felt connected to the people of India. Indian’s beliefs and faith gave her the chance to live for many years in India. She imbibed the Indian culture and embraced everyone whom shemet as her long lost brothers and sisters.
Being guided by mentors in both her personal and professional life, shehas realized and in turn have inculcated in her able team, the belief of ‘if I can do, everyone can also do’.
As a professional, spending long hours every day does cramp her style and to unwind, prefers to play badminton (have won trophies too), cricket, snow bowling, long walks, trek around the beautiful trails Malaysiaoffers, meditate with the sun rise and set while offering prayers to my Guru’s and mentors.
She signs off saying, this well-balanced approach to life that the holy saints have preached to one and all in every religion is the best way to lead a happy life thereafter.
